Anne Venier was what coaches call a true program runner. She began her high school career running only 30 miles a week and finished running 50 miles a week. Anne was a four time state qualifier in the 3200m run and was a state medalist at the 2001 D2 state finals where she finished third in the 3200m run and also had broke the school record at that time in 11:00.36. Anne was also the Huron League Champion in the 1600m run in 1999 and 2000 and the 3200m run in 2000. Anne went on to run in college at Siena Heights University.
