Bob Livernois - 1990 |
Bob Livernois placed 5th in the shot put at the 1990 Class B State Finals with a throw of 51'4", which became a school record at the time. The way Bob was able to place was incredible, because on the way to the state meet the vehicle Bob was riding in broke down. He then had to switch vehicles and ride with Coach Cisco to make it to the State Finals on time. Unfortunately, Coach Cisco wasn't able to make it to the "weigh in" for the shot put in time and Bob had to borrow a shot put from another school. Without any warm up Bob threw his first throw as his best of the day that led him to all-state status. |
