Andrea Hoffman became an All-State Track runner by finishing in 6th place at the 2008 State Finals in the 1600m run with a lifetime best of 5:12.96. Andrea made a tremendous come back after suffering a set back to her training during her junior (2007) year in track. Andrea had an injury to her foot called plantar fasciitus that hindered her chances of being All-State that year after coming off a tremendous sophomore season in 2006. Andrea actually ran her fastest time in the 3200m run at the 2006 state finals in 11:14.5 and amazingly enough that time was only good for 11th place. Andrea's time in the 3200m run during her sophomore year is the top time ever run by a sophomore at Jefferson at that time.
