||
Kaitlyn St. Bernard was what coaches call a true program runner. Without ever having run distances in Middle School Track & Field, she began her high school career running only 30 miles a week and finished running 50 miles a week. Kaitlyn first became a league champion in the 4x800 and 3200 during her junior season in 2017. She then became league champion in 3 events during her senior season in 2018 by easily winning the 800, 1600, and 3200m runs. During her breakthrough season in 2017 Kaitlyn earned all-state honors by placing 6th in the 3200m run in 11:16.13. She then repeated her all-state performance in 2018 by placing 5th in the 3200m run in 11:14.06. Kaitlyn had High School best times of 2:25.3 in the 800, 2:24.0 in the 4x800, 5:13.22 in the 1600, and 11:05.68 in the 3200.
