Brian Phinezy was one of the hardest working throwers ever for the Boys' Track & Field Team. He went on to throw 49'5.5" in the Shot Put at the D2 State Finals which was good for a 7th place medal. Unfortunately, Brian accomplished that feat with a torn muscle in his right arm which prevented him from medalling in the state finals in the Discus. Bryan's farthest throw in the shot put was 50' 9.5" and his farthest throw in the discus was 145' 7".
